8:00AM Start Time
For more information and details about the fun run, please
visit the more information page or
contact us.
As a newly diagnosed teenager with type I diabetes, my friend Megan and I have chosen
to organize the Distance for Diabetes 5K Fun Run to support the research efforts
currently taking place to cure diabetes. We very much hope that you will support
our efforts by participating in the run.
If you would like to make a tax-deductible donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation, please go to my JDRF website, created to support our Distance for Diabetes
Fun Run here. Please note that this is the JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes
page, but proceeds will go to our Distance for Diabetes event.
Being diagnosed with diabetes is a difficult, life-changing experience. With your
participation and/or donation, it is our hope to help in the search for a cure for
diabetes so other children won't have to experience what I, and many others, have
to on a daily basis.
Thank you for your support,
